About Us

I started this little venture in early 2014, in the Morgan Junction of beautiful West Seattle. I named the store My Three Little Birds for my three daughters, as they are the inspiration for all that I do. Our first location was small, but completely charming. We expanded to a second location in Burien in 2018. In late 2019 we found a new home in the heart of West Seattle…the Alaska Junction.  We made the decision to consolidate our two stores into our large and lovely new location. Then...the pandemic hit everyone very hard.  We survived by the skin of our nose thanks to our amazing customers supporting us through a very bumpy few years.  In 2021 we added Kid Friendly Footwear to our store.  We are proud to be a small, local source of kid's NEW and amazing footwear in West Seattle.

Finally, in early 2025 when our lease was up, we combined with our other sister stores, Alair Gift Shop and Dylan Clothing Shop.  This brought our entire staff together in one large building.  Our goal was to create an amazing one stop shopping experience a few blocks north in the beautiful Admiral District of West Seattle.  In one large building you can find all our local brands right next door to each other.  The West Seattle Mercantile was born!

Please come and visit us. We consign high quality, name-brand children’s clothing, accessories, and toys. We buy items for children ages newborn to 10 years.  We cultivate a perfect mixture of hand-picked resale items and fantastic new products that are great for gifting and more. We have expanded our business to also selling the bulk of our in store products on our new e-commerce website. So many ways to shop! Come on in or cruise our site.
